“Her songs are stripped down, sexy little jewel boxes stuffed with ancient mountain magic” - The San Francisco Free Folk Festival
Angie Rose Heimann
Songwriter
Angie Rose Heimann builds songs from the ground up with vulnerability, grit, and a striking emotional core. A veteran storyteller and independent music professional, her artistic journey spans from the folk-rock circuits of Ohio to the vibrant, mountain music communities of Asheville, North Carolina, and into the rugged coastlines of Mendocino, California.
Seamlessly weaving elements of traditional folk, classic alternative country, and raw Americana, her songwriting focuses on the beautiful friction of personal struggle and profound joy. Known both for her compelling solo work and dynamic collaborative projects—including fronting the roots outfit Blushin' Roulettes and partnering with prominent regional multi-instrumentalists—Heimann delivers rich acoustic textures paired with sharp, poetic journal-style lyricism. Whether commanding a listening room or holding down festival stages, her performances leave audiences feeling like they’ve spent an evening with a lifelong friend.
