Howdy folks! We want to share with y'all the latest project that Angie and Cas have been working on. Since about April of 2017 we have been working diligently on a new band with some terrific new friends and musicians. We are still playing gigs and writing new material as The Blushin' Roulettes but we're really pumped on the new band called The Appalucians. Since we relocated from Mendocino to Western North Carolina we have been child rearin' to the max but through many serendipitous avenues we met another musical family with 2 kids in the same boat as us. Jay Brown and Aditi Sethi along with the 2 of us make up The Appalucians. We are excited to be releasing our debut album Bright Hills. We have also just started up a Kickstarter to raise money for the production and post production of this new album. We are forever grateful for all the support of our Roulette's fans for getting Old Mill Sessions out there. We charted on the Americana top 100 for that album in 2014 and are so proud of that piece of work.
We would be so happy if you would spend a minute to check out The Appalucians website and take a peek at our Kickstarter. Heck, maybe even contribute if you feel inspired by the music.

Tis day three of the Blushin' Roulettes' very spooky Halloween song countdown. Today's number is "Skeleton Woman" which makes the cut because of its title. It's written by Angie Heimann and based on an Inuit folk tale. This recording is from Angie's solo album "Bootlegs and Backsides." Don't forget: if you listen closely to the lyrics each day and do well on our quiz you could win a free download!

The Blushin' Roulettes Halloweenie Countdown!
Hello ghouls and boys,
tis Angie and Cas of the Blushin' Roulettes here to supply you with a seven day countdown of spooky songs. If you are a lyrics junkie and pay close attention you just might find yourself in a position to win a free download at the end of the week!
Today's song "Kill My Love" is not exactly a murder ballad but you could call it an attempted-murder ballad of sorts. It was written by Angie Heimann and recorded years ago with members of the Kerosene Kondors at the Old School Studio in Caspar, CA.
